چکیده
Let k and l be positive integers with l ≤ k − 2. It is proved that there exists a positive integer c depending on k and l such that every graph of order (2k−1−l/k)n+c contains n vertex disjoint induced subgraphs, where these subgraphs are isomorphic to each other and they are isomorphic to one of four graphs: (1) a clique of order k, (2) an independent set of order k, (3) the join of a clique of order l and an independent set of order k − l, or (4) the union of an independent set of order l and a clique of order k − l.

A Ramsey-type Theorem for Multiple Disjoint Copies of Induced Subgraphs (Extended Abstract)

متن کاملAnti-ramsey Numbers for Disjoint Copies of Graphs
A subgraph of an edge-colored graph is called rainbow if all of its edges have different colors. For a graph G and a positive integer n, the anti-Ramsey number ar(n, G) is the maximum number of colors in an edge-coloring of Kn with no rainbow copy of H. Anti-Ramsey numbers were introduced by Erdős, Simonovits and Sós and studied in numerous papers. Let G be a graph with anti-Ramsey number ar(n,...
متن کاملOn Ramsey Minimal Graphs
An elementary probabilistic argument is presented which shows that for every forest F other than a matching, and every graph G containing a cycle, there exists an infinite number of graphs J such that J → (F,G) but if we delete from J any edge e the graph J − e obtained in this way does not have this property. Introduction. All graphs in this note are undirected graphs, without loops and multip...
متن کاملRamsey Numbers of Connected Clique Matchings
We determine the Ramsey number of a connected clique matching. That is, we show that if G is a 2-edge-coloured complete graph on (r2− r− 1)n− r+ 1 vertices, then there is a monochromatic connected subgraph containing n disjoint copies of Kr for n sufficiently large. This number of vertices cannot be reduced.
متن کاملRamsey Properties of Random Subgraphs of Pseudo-Random Graphs
Let G = (V,E) be a d-regular graph of order n. Let Gp be the random subgraph of G for which each edge is selected from E(G) independently at random with probability p. For a fixed graph H, define m(H) := max{e(H ′)/(v(H ′)− 1) : H ′ ⊆ H}. We prove that n(m(H)−1)/m(H)/d is a threshold function for Gp to satisfy Ramsey, induced Ramsey, and canonical Ramsey properties with respect to vertex colori...
